Up at 6.45 and had orange juice, apple, cheese and coffee. Tillie up at 7.30. Read paper. Raining at 7.30.
Tillie began waxing kitchen.
Went for a swim and it poured while we were in the water. Wrote and read in afternoon. Rain stopped about 4.00. .9” rain.
Watched T.V. in Eve.

Up at 7.45 and had breakfast, Read paper and shaved.
Tillie began washing and waxing bedrooms.
Went for a swim with Etta. Rained all the time we were down.
Rained a little in afternoon.
The bricks came at 5.00. 14 were broken.
Played with Craig and Denise.
Macaroni for supper. Watched T.V. and read Palm Beach Times.

Up at 6.30 and had my breakfast. Tillie up at 7.30. Sunny and warm. Wrote to Dick and Evelyn.
Went for a swim. Talked with the Mass. Couple. Harrisons came down later and Mrs. Mansfield and a friend of hers. Home and lunch and a nap.

Worked around house. Went downtown and shopped. Got home at 6.10.
Stayed home in Eve. & watched T.V. To bed at 10.00.
Tillie washed windows with hose.

Tues, June 6, 1961

Up at 5.30 and had my breakfast and then read paper.
Numbered slides.
Went after car. Tillie drove Ettas car. I drove ours. Home at 11.00.
Went for a swim at noon. Home by 12.55. Had lunch, asparagus on toast. Then Tillie had a nap.
Sunny and warm 92° at 2.00. Very little breeze.
I had an hours nap.
Played with Craig and Denise. Talked with Leonhard and Ordway.
Ed stopped in for a while. Had fish cakes for supper. Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening.
Lew and Nell Harrison and Mr. Clos stopped in for a while in Eve.
Tillie sewed on her skirt.
I went to bed at 10.00.

Mon, June 5, 1961

Up at 6.00 and shaved and had my orange, apple, cheese & coffee. Tillie up at 7.00. Left at 7.35 and was at Gulf Stream Motors at 7.55. Left car there and took bus home to Blue Heron. Walked home from there in 28 min.
Had a cup of coffee, beautiful morning.
Went for a swim, using Ettas car. 81° water. Home at 11.35 had lunch, then went to Gulf Stream Motors, but my car wasn’t ready, so we went to Wrightsmans and saw Una.
Had tea with her. She showed us around the Wrightsmans House and the furniture is all covered. They are sand blasting the west side of the house. Saw Scotty.
Home and supper.
Etta came over and we sat talking till Collangis came, then we all went to the meeting of the Citizens Org. in the Recreation Hall.
Had coffee and doughnuts.
Home at 10.30. Tillie irrigated.

Up at 7.15. Beautiful morning. Read paper and had my orange juice.
Went after the Collangis and Etta and went swimming. Stayed down for an hour. Tillie made banana bread.
Lots of people on beach. Water 80°. Home by 12.00. Had an hour nap then shaved. Read in afternoon.
Head aches while eating, every day. Had dolphin that Toy gave us, for supper. Tillie gave Jim some banana bread and Dixie gave us some hot biscuit.
Stayed home in Eve. and watched T.V. Tillie to bed at 10.00, I 11.00. Head ached off and on, especially while eating and for ½ an hour afterward.

Up at 7.15 and squeezed oranges and had my coffee. Tillie up at 8.15. Sunny and warm and calm.
Helped Dixie trim her ixora hedge. Swept yard.
Went swimming with Etta.
Water dirty from sea weed. Walked south on beach. Home and lunch.
Had a two hour nap.
Tillie washed her hair.
Very little breeze.
Ed came over for a while.
In Eve. played Samba with the Collangis. The men won.
Had ice cream & apple turnovers and coffee. Played till 12.30.
Lovely evening.
