This blog shares the journals of my great-grandfather Nelson Hjalmar Lindgren (b. 14 Oct 1884 Sweden d. 3 Mar 1976 E. Prov, RI). These writings give a window into a fascinating man and give the story of a remarkable life of a first generation Swedish-American. The daily entries of Nil's journals from 50 years ago will give our family a greater connection to our past.
